Rishi and Shalu continue to look for Lakshmi while the latter considers committing suicide. Shalu reprimands Rishi and blames him for everything happening with Lakshmi. Later, Rishi gets a call from Malishka who tells them about a body being found near the hill road. Shalu informs Rano about the same and she rushes to the location. Ayush reaches the temple and criticizes Rishi for hurting Lakshmi. Meanwhile, Kiran tells Malishka that her father Abhay also knows the entire truth about her pregnancy. Malishka tells Kiran about a body being found and Kiran tells Karishma that Lakshmi committed suicide. They then inform Neelam about the same. After falling from the hill and remaining in the water for a while, the corpse is in an unidentifiable state. While Rishi and others refuse to believe that it is Lakshmi, Malishka tells everyone that it is indeed Lakshmi’s body. While Neelam and others are worried about Lakshmi’s life and Rishi’s state after getting the news, Rano and Shalu come to the Oberoi House. They try to take Paro with them and when Neelam denies it they threaten to take her legally. On the other hand, Rishi tries to look for Lakshmi outside the police station by showing her pictures to everyone. Later, Rishi comes home and sobs in Neelam’s lap.

Rishi cries all night and eventually falls asleep. The next morning, the kids call out to Lakshmi. Rishi and Malishka rush out of their rooms and are left shocked to see Lakshmi back at the Oberoi House. Lakshmi sends the kids to school and goes about her daily tasks as if nothing happened. Rishi tries to talk to her but she remains eerily calm. Lakshmi then recalls how she didn’t commit suicide as she was reminded of Paro and wanted to be there for her. Later, Rano and Shalu come to the Oberoi house with the police to take Paro away. However, Lakshmi declares her decision about Paro living in the Oberoi house, shocking everyone.

Lakshmi tells everyone how Paro will continue to live here. She then proceeds to announce that she’s breaking all her ties with the Oberois and will live here as Lakshmi Bajwa just for her kids. Lakshmi continues to care for the kids and a month passes by in a blur. Soon, Rohan and Paro, who have won the science fair at their school, depart to the UK for the next level of their competition.
