Lately, all the Kumkum Bhagya episodes have been nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster. One moment we feel that Purvi is winning, and the next moment Monisha turns everything in her favor. Finally, when we thought that Purvi might expose Monisha with the CCTV footage, she got tied up in a chair. She was barely managing to fight against Monisha, and looks like soon, Purvi might have to fight her own sister Khushi for RV’s love. Kumkum Bhagya Episode Written Update for January 23, 2025
The episode starts with Diya saying that Khushi is safe because RV saved her. RV clarifies that he only saved his wife, Purvi’s sister. He again says that he only saved Khushi because he’d be answerable to Purvi. Then, he follows Jasbir who is still on the run. RV tackles Jasbir and starts fighting with him. Meanwhile, Khushi is under the delusion that RV is still in love with her and confirms that she still loves him as well. She vows in front of the Lohri fire that she’ll do whatever it takes to mend things between her and RV and get his love back.
At the Malhotra house, Monisha sets the room on fire and starts fake-screaming. The family worries that Netra might harm Purvi and Monisha. Harman, Vikrant, and Yug try to break the door but fail. Monisha jumps out of the window and escapes. Purvi remembers Monisha’s words and tries to free herself.
Jasbir runs but is cornered by the police. He tries to escape but is beaten down by RV. After a lot of tussles, RV helps the police arrest Jasbir. Yug passes by trying to find something to break the door. RV spots him and asks what he’s doing. He informs RV that Netra has locked Purvi and Monisha in a room setting it on fire. RV panics and runs to Purvi’s rescue. Khushi tries to follow him but gets a cramp and stops mid-way.
RV reaches there and tries to figure out a way to save Purvi. He tries going into the room through the door but isn’t able to do so as the door is also catching fire. The family asks him to wait for the fire department. RV goes through the side and finds the window to the washroom which Monisha used to escape. He goes into the room through that window.
Monisha witnesses Jasbir being arrested. He then spots Monisha and starts saying that if he isn’t saved he won’t let anyone be safe. He indirectly threatens Monisha that if he goes down he’ll also take Monisha down with him. He then says that if he’s in prison he’ll also take her to prison. She then rubs some dirt on her face to stay unrecognizable and drives to save Jasbir.
Meanwhile, Purvi wriggles to save herself but ends up falling down. The family thinks of ways to save Monisha and Purvi. Luckily, RV arrives there and picks her up. He unties Purvi and answers back to the family that he’s with Purvi. He reassures them that they’re safe and the family is shocked to know that RV is inside the room with Purvi.
