The recent Kumkum Bhagya episodes on ZEE5 have been quite the rollercoaster. At first, we thought that Purvi might finally be able to expose Monisha. However, as in most popular Hindi TV shows, an unexpected twist left Purvi in peril while Monisha enjoyed her win. Now, Purvi is more determined than ever to expose Monisha. Kumkum Bhagya Episode Written Update for January 19, 2025
The episode starts with Diya advising Purvi to be careful when dealing with Monisha. She asks Purvi to use her anger to strategize and expose Monisha smartly. Purvi agrees to this, however, she says that she wishes to talk to RV first. She says that RV was very disappointed and hurt by everything that happened and goes to talk to him.
Purvi goes to RV’s room and says that she didn’t do anything. RV says she should’ve been careful if she cared for him. RV asks how he could trust her, and Purvi says that sometimes he just needs to feel that she’s telling the truth and trust her. She starts crying while explaining how important he is to her. RV tries to pacify her and when she doesn’t stop crying RV says that he’ll kiss her if he doesn’t stop crying. This shocks Purvi and she stops crying.
RV teases her saying that he isn’t a bad kisser, at least that’s what his girlfriends said in the past. Purvi asks about his ex-girlfriends and RV gets lost in thoughts recalling his time with Khushi. Purvi says that he doesn’t need to talk about his past and reassures him that she never meant to hurt him. RV says that he trusts her and then asks her about Lohri celebrations. RV says it’s his favorite festival and Purvi says it’s her favorite as well. Purvi decides that she’ll do whatever it takes to save RV and his family from any harm.
The next day, Purvi is seen busy with preparations for Lohri celebrations. Khushi comes to invite her to celebrate Lohri at her house and Purvi asks Khushi to come to the Malhotra house first. Khushi then greets RV, Monisha who just entered the house sees this which makes her furious. RV then goes and helps Purvi with the Lohri decorations. He says that Purvi matters a lot to him and he can’t take it if anything happens to her. Harleen comes and spots Khushi. Purvi says she invited her for the celebrations and Harleen allows her after RV nods in approval.
At the Lohri celebrations in the evening, the Malhotra men tease each other as they wait for the women of the family to arrive. Khushi arrives there making Monisha furious. RV tells the family that Purvi invited her. Later, Monisha takes Khushi aside and asks her to stay away from RV. Harleen, Vaishali, and Deepika arrive looking beautiful earning praise from their husbands. Yug wonders where Purvi is and right on cue, she arrives with Diya. Purvi looks gorgeous leaving RV mesmerized.
The Dholwalas arrive and everyone starts dancing with their respective partners. Yug dances with Diya and Vaishali pulls him aside. RV and Purvi then dance with each other celebrating Lohri. Monisha is agitated to see this and tries to stop them. However, she gets a call and leaves to check who it is from. Purvi notices this and wonders who that might be.
