Kumkum Bhagya Episode Written Update for January 6, 2025
The episode starts with Monisha calling her dad and asking him to meet her. At the Malhotra house, Jaswant is on a call when RV spots him. When RV asks Jaswant tell him about the risk of RV skipping the meeting that he didn’t go for. RV apologizes and says that he didn’t feel like going because Purvi told him not to. Jaswant says he did the right thing. Then RV asks Jaswant about his conversation with Khushi and tells him not to be friendly with her. Jaswant says he was just being himself and asks RV to move on from his past. RV says he can never forget or forgive her.
Meanwhile, Purvi meets Khushi in the Malhotra house. Khushi says that she came to meet her and RV earlier as well and left because they weren’t home. Purvi says she could’ve called. Then Khushi says it’s fine, as she only came to check on RV and thank him for saving Purvi’s life. Khushi says that she’ll always remember what RV has done for her by saving Purvi. Purvi then recalls Armaan’s behavior and asks Khushi about it. Khushi defends him and says that Armaan feels guilty about his behavior and has asked Khushi to apologize on his behalf.
Purvi says that it shouldn’t happen again. Khushi says Armaan is a good husband and brushes it off as a lover’s spat by saying that you only fight with the ones you love. Purvi says that if there’s love there should be respect as well. Khushi asks her not to worry so much and says that she’s fine. She asks Purvi to forget whatever she saw. Purvi asks why men are like this to which Khushi says that not all men are. She says not all men take out their anger like this. Some men are like RV, who risk their lives to save their wives or even their wives’ sisters. Purvi asks what happened and Khushi narrates the whole event of how RV saved her from the creeps. Purvi asks her if she’s fine and Khushi says that because of RV she’s fine. She gets a call from Armaan and leaves with a promise to come back tomorrow.
Deepika worries about Monisha and wonders why she isn’t receiving the call. Khushi meets Deepika and requests her to forgive her, forget the past, and move on for Purvi’s sake since she’s family now. Deepika says you remember your sister, what about mine. She reminds her of the first time Khushi met Monisha during a terror attack at the hotel where a bomb jacket was tied to Purvi. Deepika then tells her how that was the day Monisha and RV were celebrating their love anniversary. She tells her that on the same day many years ago Monisha proposed RV and he accepted it. She makes a snarky comment that that’s where Purvi stands in this house. Then Deepika shoos Khushi and she leaves.
Meanwhile, at Monisha’s house, she tells her Dad Dushyant everything about her deal with Netra. Dushyant gets angry and berates Monisha for playing these games and doing all the planning and plotting, saying that it’s not their level. He then says that he could’ve easily forced the Malhotra family to get RV married to Monisha with the flick of a finger. He says that she shouldn’t have hired Netra. Monisha agrees and says that now Netra will expose her and the only way to deal with this is to give her more money. Dushyant asks her not to do so.
Dushyant gets a call and informs Monisha that Netra will be out on bail soon. She starts panicking and wonders who’s bailing her out. Dushyant says that it’s someone who wants to bring out the entire truth. Monisha wonders if it could have been Purvi and Dushyant agrees.
Meanwhile, at the Malhotra house, RV is on a work call. Purvi spots him and recalls some of their romantic moments. A song plays, she goes to RV, throws his work papers in the air, and starts dancing with him. She ends up hugging him towards the end and turns out that it was a dream. Purvi is standing in the room, hugging a pillow as RV looks at her. He asks her if everything is fine and she says that everything is fantastic..
Back at Monisha’s house, she plans to stop Netra while Dushyant asks her to focus on the root cause of her problem – Purvi. He then tells her that she must get rid of Purvi once and for all. Monisha wonders if he’s asking her to kill Purvi. Dushyant denies that and asks her to trap Purvi in an even bigger problem than this. He also asks her to ensure that nobody is on her side. Monisha thanks Dushyant for the idea and he calls someone home. He then asks Monisha to get him details on the entire daily schedule of the Malhotras.
Meanwhile, at the house, Purvi follows RV and asks the reason for his laughter. RV goes closer to Purvi and asks if he should tell her the truth. Purvi says yes, and RV goes even closer. He touches her hair and says there’s something he has always wished to do to Purvi in situations like this. He asks for her permission and she nods giving her consent. RV then goes closer to Purvi’s cheek while the latter shuts her eyes. This Kumkum Bhagya episode ends with the anticipation of what happens next with these two.
