In the last few episodes of Kumkum Bhagya, we saw how Raunak and Payal were to be wed while Prarthana was getting married to Bhavesh. However, all of that changed last week. Kumkum Bhagya Written Updates: 14-20 April
In the episode aired on April 14, 2025, Kinjal tells Harsh to call Raunak and ask him to come back and get married to Payal. Elsewhere, Rocky blackmails Payal, compels her to confess the truth, and asks her to back out of her wedding with Raunak, but she toys with him. Meanwhile, Raunak knocks out Bhavesh, ties him up, and takes his place at the altar to wed Prarthana. Unaware of all this, Prarthana gets married, while her thoughts constantly revolve around Raunak.
In the Kumkum Bhagya episode aired on April 15, 2025, Raunak realizes his feelings and comes to the conclusion that Prarthana is indeed his soulmate. He happily marries her while hoping to get her forgiveness later. Payal’s Dad and his goons put Rocky in the trunk of his car. As the wedding rituals progress, Harsh calls Raunak, but to no avail. Payal gets suspicious and halts the wedding. Harsh’s truth is revealed.
In the episode aired on April 16, 2025, everyone blames Harsh. Later, he reveals that it was Raunak’s plan to make him sit here so that he could halt Prarthana’s wedding. Payal’s Dad sends his goons to get Raunak back. Elsewhere, Bhavesh regains consciousness. Mayank tries to stop him, but Bhavesh reaches the mandap to expose Raunak. Meanwhile, Ketki poisons Smita’s mind against Prarthana.
In the Kumkum Bhagya episode aired on April 17, 2025, Bhavesh reveals Raunak’s face, and then Raunak exposes Bhavesh, Payal, and Seema’s truth in front of everyone. He then asks Kishan for Prarthana’s hand in marriage. Bhavesh and his men attack Raunak. Kishan calls the police, and they run away. Later, Payal offers Bhavesh INR 1 crore to marry Prarthana. He arranges for a priest, while Prarthana, Mayank, and Gayatri try to take an unconscious Raunak to the hospital.
In the episode aired on April 18, 2025, Payal creates a scene in front of the Zaveris. Luckily, Rocky comes in time and exposes her truth to the family, with evidence! Meanwhile, Bhavesh and his men kidnap Prarthana. Purvi, who hears her cries, goes to help her with a police inspector.
In the Kumkum Bhagya episode aired on April 19, 2025, Smita is infuriated with Payal and throws her, along with her parents, out of the house. Ketki and Praful argue outside the Zaveri house, blaming each other. Raunak wakes up and goes to rescue Prarthana. Bhavesh begins his wedding rituals. Purvi and the police inspector arrive at Bhavesh’s hideout. Purvi gets restless hearing Prarthana’s cries.
In the episode aired on April 20, 2025, the police inspector tries to save Prarthana but gets shot by Bhavesh. Purvi breaks free from the handcuffs and comes to Prarthana’s rescue. Elsewhere, the Zaveris come to Prarthana’s mandap looking for Raunak. Seema tells everyone that Prarthana isn’t her daughter, disowns her, and tells them to do whatever they please with her. Purvi saves Prarthana. Payal offers Bhavesh INR 2 Crore to kill Prarthana. He pushes her into a well. Raunak jumps to save her, and Purvi throws in a rope to help the couple.
